Samshield safety is based on a simple principle: going beyond standards. All our models are certified according to the most stringent international standards (EN, ASTM, SEI, PAS015). These certifications guarantee that each helmet meets and exceeds requirements for stability, impact absorption and resistance to deformation.

To validate these performance levels, Samshield works with CRITT, a French laboratory renowned for its high standards and independence. Each helmet undergoes a series of extreme tests, including frontal and lateral impacts, crushing and penetration, in order to reproduce the real conditions of a fall.

At Samshield, safety always comes first. As a helmet can be compromised after an impact, Samshield offers its Crash Policy programme to help riders replace their helmet following a fall.

The outer shell is highly resistant. In the event of an impact, it's the inner shell which, by collapsing in on itself, absorbs the impact energy and protects the head.

On the other hand, once a shock has been sustained, the inner shell does not return to its original shape. As it is not safe for riders to continue riding with a damaged helmet after a fall, Samshield offers you its CRASH POLICY:

  • 1 year from purchase of helmet = 30% RRP
  • 2 years from purchase of helmet = 20% RRP
  • 3 years from purchase of helmet = 10% RRP
