In 2019, Pieter won the silver medal at the Longines Global Champions Tour, one of the world's most prestigious show jumping championships, and is regularly ranked among the world's top 30 show jumpers. Over the years, Pieter has achieved many important Grand Prix victories and has represented his country on several occasions in the Nations Cup, as well as at the European and World Championships, winning gold in 2019.
